US stocks end session lower but post weekly gains
By FXStreet Wall Street indexes ended slightly lower on Friday weighed by fall in oil prices, but managed to post weekly gains.
The DJIA fell 22.3 points, or 0.1%, to 16,391.10 but ended the week 2.6% higher. The S&P 500 finished the day flat at 1,917.67 but gained 2.8% over the week. Both the Dow and S&P 500 posted their biggest weekly gains of the year.
The Nasdaq Composite rose 16.89 points, or 0.4%, to 4,504.43 and climbed 3.9% over the week, posting its largest gain in over six months.
